Outlook Express 5 - Basic Setup

Create new identity

• Click on File / Identities / Add new identity.
• Type in your name. (You may check below for password security for your account.)
• Click OK.
• Click Yes to switch to new identity.

Account setup for your identity

• Type in your name as it would appear on your outgoing mail.
• Select, "I already have an email address..."
• Now, type in your correct email address with Prismweb.net. (your logon Your_Name@prismweb.net)
• Click Next.
   
• Select, "My incoming mail server is a - POP3."
• For incoming mail server name type-  mail.prismweb.net
• For outgoing mail server name type - mailcity.prismweb.net
• Click Next.

• Type in your account logon name. (The name you chose when signing up.)
• Type in your password assigned to you by Prismweb.net. (Don't enter password if you want to be  asked to verify the password each time you send or receive mail.)
• DO NOT put a check mark in the,"Logon using SPA"- as we don't support this.
• Click Next.
• Click Finish.
