Outlook Express Mail Setup

Adding an Account:

• Click on Tools
• Click on Accounts
• Click on Add/Mail
• Enter your name as it would appear on a letter. Click Next
• Enter your email address: your_user_name@prismweb.net
• Click Next
• The incoming mail server is a POP3.
• Incoming mail server name: mail.prismweb.net
• Outgoing mail server name: mailcity.prismweb.net
• Click Next
• Enter your Login name and Password.
• Click Next
• Click Next to accept the friendly name.
• Click on Connect using a phone line.
• Click Next
• Click on Use an existing dial up connection, then select PrismWeb.Net.
• Click Next
• Click Finish

Checking Properties

• Click on Tools
• Click on Accounts
• Click on Mail
• Highlight the mail.prismweb.net account
• Click on Properties
• Verify that the email address is in correctly
• Click on Servers
• Verify that the Pop3 and SMTP servers are entered correctly as above
• Verify that the username is in correctly
• Click on Connection.
• Verify that Connect using your phone line is clicked
• Verify that PrismWeb.Net is highlighted under Use the following Connection
• Click on Apply to commit to any changes
• Click on Ok
